We all are slaves to our emotions, both negative and positive emotions that control our mind. Positive emotions are those that bring happiness to us as well as to the people around us.These emotions are love, compassion, forgiveness, kindness. Negative emotions are those who are useless and unhappy and also force us to spread like everyone else. There are negative emotions like hate, jealousy, jealousy, possessiveness, suspicion etc.Today we are going to talk about anger and how can we control anger will also be discussed in this article. Before going further we all have to know about what is anger?

Anger is a basic human emotion, sometimes unwanted or irrational emotion that from time to time everyone experiences.



The cause of anger:-



Anger arises in a person’s mind due to how he deal and react to certain situations. Every person has their own reason for what makes them angry, but some common situation in which a person becomes angry:

  • threatened or attacked

  • frustrated or powerless

  • like we're being treated unfairly

It is not important that a situation makes you feel angry the same will make others feel angry (for example, other reactions could include annoyance, hurt or amusement). But just because we can interpret things differently, it doesn't mean that you're interpreting things 'wrong' if you get angry.



Effects of anger on health: -

Anger is not beneficial; not just because it causes violence but it slowly damages the person who is angry. Every person gets angry at some point in his/her own life but the fact is that anger damages your health physically and mentally.

  • Sleeplessness: - your body’s hormonal level change and your thoughts race in your head without letting you sleep.biologically, it is known as insomnia

  • Headaches: -  when you are angry you might suffer a severe headache. Yes, anger stresses you out and cause a headache too.

  • Anxiety: - Anxiety is a by product of anger, it is caused by the cortisol levels.

  • Digestive issues: - when you undergo a fit of rage your body almost pauses certain activities for few moments.

  • High BP: - increased heart beat due to the anger heart pumps blood faster than high BP occurs

UNDERSTAND YOUR ANGER:-
Think deeply and identify the clues about the kinds of situation, people, and events that make you angry. Once you are aware of them try to avoid them for your benefit. If you can’t avoid them, at least you will know to predict them which will give you more time to handle such situations which make you angry.


NEVER LOSE YOUR TEMPER:-
Losing your temper makes you look like the bad guy. It makes no difference who is really at fault. To get better at controlling your anger, visualize a scene in your mind replay it, again and again, it gives you more options to come out from your anger.


GO FOR A WALK:-

When you get really angry leave the source place and go for a walk of five minutes in fresh and enjoy the natural beauty.



GIVE YOURSELF A PINCH:-

Give yourself pinch time to time it gives help you to control your anger by distracting your mind.



SET A TIMER :-

When you are angry, look at your watch for two minutes before taking any action in anger. This will definitely give you relief.
